Laura returned to her home state of Vermont in 2013 after spending a decade working in a wide range of environmental design positions in Colorado, Montana, and Oregon. She is currently the Research Director at Maclay Architects and spearheads in house energy efficiency design and monitoring. Laura strives to continually engage with systems thinking and environmental design as a way to advance our built environment towards healthy, energy efficient, and adaptable spaces. Laura holds a BA in Environmental Design from Williams College, a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, and is a Certified Passive House Consultant.
